Silver-Gilt medal at RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival.
After two weeks of building on the grounds of the prestigious Hampton Court Palace, we have successfully pulled together a show garden worth shouting about. The design which encompasses areas to lounge, stand to have drinks and incorporates various repurposed features to create interest throughout the scheme, was awarded the RHS Silver-Gilt Medal on Monday 5th July 2021. One day later we were also awarded ‘Best in Category’.
The show garden has been the result of two years of waiting, with the pandemic causing a one year delay in the design being realised. Landscape teams from within the Association of Professional Landscapers joined together to see the garden constructed, whilst students from the London College of Garden Design worked alongside myself and plantswoman, Cherry Carmen, to plant the space in its calming, white palette.
The garden has received attention from the BBC, with Toby Buckland presenting this weeks Hampton Court coverage from the space, as he discusses the good use of structure and form.
