Mike Long Gardens is a small, experienced garden design studio led by award-winning garden designer Mike Long.
Mike has worked in garden design and landscaping since 2008, bringing together creative design with a practical understanding of how gardens are actually built.
Mike remains creatively involved throughout every project, providing the artistic direction and final design sign-off. Around him, we work with a small network of trusted designers, specialists and landscape contractors to bring each project together.
The result is a personal design service with the experience and capability to take on everything from considered garden transformations to substantial country landscapes.

We collaborate with architects on renovations, extensions and new-build projects, developing the garden and wider landscape as part of the overall vision.
Bringing us in early allows architecture and landscape to develop together — considering levels, views, materials, thresholds and the relationship between inside and outside.
